There was a time in which recasters were popping out like dandelions. So a movement with the hashtag "ProBJDArtists" tried to raise awareness about how buying recast dolls was hurting the real artists behind them.

After months and months on hiatus, it was about time I would go to Salica's place and take pictures of her beautiful dolls and detailed dioramas. I saw the smart doll Eiji and I was extremely impressed with his pose ability (being the owner of big resin guys this was like a dream come true to me). He held most of the posing here without the use of a stand or anything similar.

Marko: "Well, well, what do we have here? Are you the new guy? What's your name?"

Nikolay: "The name is Nikolay."

Marko: "Another Russian?"

Nikolay: "What do you mean 'another' one?"

It's been a while since I've shown Paul. He's wearing a sweater that Jasmine Fillion got for me. She also made one for my Buried in Oblivion Blackberry that I always forget exists.

Marko has been wearing this outfit for years but it's the first time I'm showing him on it.

And last but not least, my sister's mischevious Yang.

Unlike the previous years, my hands can no longer stand cold winters. -15C is cold enough for me, and I can only work with my bare hands for a few minutes. This is why, sadly, I am calling this "Last Winter".

A nice guy who goes by Shadowxm1 made a drum kit for Marko a while ago. The whole thing is amazing and super detailed, and I couldn't be happier with it. I never got to take really nice pics of it, but today in the evening I saw this light and couldn't resist. He's in my bedroom right now because I don't know where else to put these huge things.

The drums you saw in earlier photoshoots were photo manipulation. These are the real deal!

It finally happened! Sakuno and Vanja finally got married. Everything was possible thanks to Salica's persistence and love to details. She made the whole set up and dressed all the girls for the occasion. Real hard work. I just came with a couple guys and my camera, and she allowed me to be the one publishing the story about what happened. I hope you can appreciate all the hard work she put into this.

Sakuno: "Hum, I wonder what I can and cannot eat now."

Vanja: "Hello, Sakuno."

Sakuno: "Vanja!"

I ordered this body back in January and it was just yesterday that I got it. I promised I would make a photo story of it, as bizarre as it sounds. I'm sorry for the choppy dialogue, I'm just too tired at this moment lol. I hope you enjoy it.

I've abandoned this poor blog for years, so I've decided to update it. I'm gonna start with these pictures from April 8th, 2014.

So I wanted to take mud pics of this doll and today was the perfect day as it rained (don't worry, mud doesn't stain resin!) I came from work and had about one hour of light left. I went to this little park, covered Marko in mud and water, and I'm about to take the perfect picture when I realized I had no battery in my camera! I had to come back and once I got to the same spot, a man and his daughter came by collecting hockey discs that people left in winter... They started a conversation with me regarding the doll and inside I was like "I have no time!!!". "You never know what sort of things you find this season... Even a doll! Is that a barbie?" Anyway. The sun was setting but I was able to take some nice pics. They're sort of repetitive but I hope you like them.
