[Photo Story] Nikolay's Welcoming

After months and months on hiatus, it was about time I would go to Salica's place and take pictures of her beautiful dolls and detailed dioramas. I saw the smart doll Eiji and I was extremely impressed with his pose ability (being the owner of big resin guys this was like a dream come true to me). He held most of the posing here without the use of a stand or anything similar.

Marko: "Well, well, what do we have here? Are you the new guy? What's your name?"

Nikolay: "The name is Nikolay."

Marko: "Another Russian?"

Nikolay: "What do you mean 'another' one?"

Marko: "Look, I'm gonna be honest with you. There are officially three guys living here including yourself. The first guy to arrive was some Kazuya what's-his-face. I've only heard rumours about him. His existence might as well be an urban legend."

Eloise: "He is NOT an urban legend. He's just super shy and you never see him around."

Marko: "As I was saying, a total loser, just like that Edward dude."

Marko: "Real social inepts. So please tell me you're a decent guy."

Nikolay: "Excuse me?!"

Nikolay: "Why would you even care? You don't even know me."

Marko: "That is true, but I can't stand idle by seeing how you guys come and none of you gets a girl. It doesn't look good on the 'guild', if you catch my drift."

Nikolay: "Relax, I just arrived!"

Marko: "You'll have to prove you're a real man. There are eighteen available legal girls here. Eighteen! Yes, I've counted them."

Nikolay: "Oook? I see where this is going."

Marko: "And you have one week only to make one of them your girlfriend."

Nikolay: "That sounds really forced if you ask me."

Kristen: "He is right, it DOES sound forced."

Marko: "Oh come on! There has to be at least one of them with a goggle fetish or something!"

Nikolay: "Goggle fet- Hey!"

Roberta: "There's actually one of them filling that particular criteria."

Nikolay: "I-is that so? I mean... How do you know that?"

Roberta: "It's my job."

Nikolay: "Your job? Are you a detective or something?"

Eloise: "Even better, she's an assassin."

Roberta: "Oh come on, don't be so blunt."

Roberta: "I prefer calling it 'professional hired soldier."

Eloise: "That doesn't sound deceiving at all."

Nikolay: "You girls are creeping me out."

Marko: "Welcome to Salica's Wunderbar place!"

Roberta: "By the way, I'm not the only one."

Nikolay: "What do you mean, there's more?"

Roberta: "There's also Maria, a fellow countrywoman of yours."

Eloise: "Oh yes, she can also get very intense at times."

Nikolay: "How can you coexist with assassins?"

Eloise: "They do make awesome bodyguards!"

Kristen: "Scratching Roberta and Maria from the list... That's sixteen remaining available girls for him."

Nikolay: "I-I'm sorry, I need some time to assimilate all of this."

Roberta: "That's what happens when you don't research the place you're going to live in... "

Nikolay: "I guess so... "
