The new Paul arrived this week after a 2 month trip from China. He's a Xaga Doll Hoshino and I am smitten. I also bought a USD5 plastic doll from Aliexpress and gave her a face up to see her true potential.

It's been a while since I've shown Paul. He's wearing a sweater that Jasmine Fillion got for me. She also made one for my Buried in Oblivion Blackberry that I always forget exists.

Marko has been wearing this outfit for years but it's the first time I'm showing him on it.

And last but not least, my sister's mischevious Yang.

Unlike the previous years, my hands can no longer stand cold winters. -15C is cold enough for me, and I can only work with my bare hands for a few minutes. This is why, sadly, I am calling this "Last Winter".

This is a weekly challenge I wanted to start last year but because of reasons never got around to do it. I decided this was the year to do it. I need to take a pic every week inspired by a song. These are the first ones and I gotta say it's harder than I thought. One thing is having the perfect picture in your head, and other totally different what it looks like as the final image.

I've been waiting for him since April, and he came today as a surprise, as I never got an email or a message in the boards with a shipping notice. However I was decided to make a photo story for his box opening. I hope I'm not tiring you with these ^^U If it's a relief for you, it's gonna be the last one in a while... As I need a break from new dolly purchases.

There are a lot of dolls here, but hopefully by now you'll now more or less who they are o.O

In my doll family I'm the invisible and omnipresent owner. They live their lives and they don't know I exist, but I've always been curious about those owners who are part of their dolls lives. Some of them are called "lady", "sir", "mom" or "dad." I thought "what if I broke the fourth wall at least for one day", and I spread the false rumour that I was getting a new doll, and in order to get this done I'd have to get rid of one of them. Many of them listened to it while a few didn't. Those who did explained to me why they should stay here (or not).

Glenn: "It has been said that you will get rid of one of us. It won't be me, obviously, as I must be one, if not your favorite."
Me: "You surely got high self-esteem."
Glenn: "It is more than obvious, beside I was one of your first characters. We've been together for longer than a decade."
Me: "I know ;_; "
